The company Glomex MS Polska Sp. z o.o. handed over an aircraft simulator for the Specialist Training Center of the Border Guard Gen. Brig. Wilhelm Orlik-Rückemann in Lubań as part of a contract financed from EU funds, namely the "Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF)".
Our company participated in the Black Sea Defence and Aerospace exhibition in Bucharest from 18 to 20 May 2022. We exhibited both special forces equipment and special military vehicles that we currently offer. The Czech Army has already ordered 1000 Toyota Hilux vehicles - and that is not a final number.
The handover of new vehicles to the Army of the Czech Republic continues as planned. During January 2022 alone, we handed over 52 more modified Toyota Hilux vehicles to our soldiers at the Technical Services Material Security Centre in Štěpánov, Olomouc.

Within the next three years, our company will supply to the Polish army more than five hundred of modified off-road Nissan Navara pick-ups worth over 120 million PLN (over 600 million CZK) through its subsidiary Glomex MS Polska. According to a contract signed on March 31, 2020, we will deliver 160 cars this year while the customer can exercise option to receive additional 50 units.
Glomex MS supplied helicopter textile slings to the Army of the Czech Republic this February. The delivery comprised a total of three sets of Helicopter Under-Slung Load Equipment (HUSLE) Slings. The slings are designed to secure cargo slung under the Mi-17 and Mi-171Š military helicopters home based at Náměšť nad Oslavou and Praha-Kbely airbases that are frequently deployed abroad.
The permanent collection of the Aviation Museum located in “Old Aerovka” in Letňany was expanded on 4 December 2019 by one Aero L-39ZA MSN 2421 jet plane. After 36 years of operation, the aircraft was discarded from the Czech Air Force inventory, followed by a decision to relocate the plane to Prague Letňany. GLOMEX Military Supplies took care of the transport for a symbolic price. The plane was disassembled in Čáslav airport, the parts were then put inside transport crates and taken by truck to the final destination for their re-assembly the very next day.

On 7 May 2019, an opening ceremony of the disorientation simulator GYRO IPT II delivered by our company was held at the Institute of Aviation Medicine in Prague. The device is the most advanced spatial disorientation simulator in Central Europe. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Defense Lubomír Metnar and other important guests from the Ministry of Defense, General Staff, Czech Air Force, medical services, etc. GYRO IPT II will be used for training of pilots by simulating such conditions when a risk of spatial disorientation or in-flight illusion is high. Such training will significantly help pilots to recover from flight illusions adequately, as these are one of the most common causes of aircraft accidents. Glomex Military Supplies took part in the international exhibition Future Forces Forum, held at PVA EXPO Prague 15th-19th October 2018. Glomex introduced their new partner, the Polish company WB-Electronics and their system UAV Warmate. Visitors were attracted by ballistic helmets for air forces from company Gentex and ballistic helmets for ground forces from company Ops-Core. Apart from WB-Electronic and their products, Glomex newly introduced target acquisition systems from the Finnish company SENOP.

Společnost Glomex Military Supplies s.r.o. jako vítěz veřejné zakázky, předala dne 28.6.2018 vzdušným silám Armády České republiky do užívání 3 komplety sněhových pluhů. Speciálně upravené sněhové pluhy LLV 60, dle potřeb AČR, jsou instalovány na vozidlech Tatra T-815 v souladu s upevňovací normou DIN 76 060 a jsou tak použitelné i pro jiná vozidla s odpovídajícím systémem. Pluhy s délkou břitu 5 515 mm jsou připraveny k použití zejména k odstraňování sněhu ze vzletových a pojížděcích drah a z velkých letištní ploch a udržovat tak provozuschopnost leteckých základen AČR. Vlastní těleso sněhového pluhu je konstrukčně řešeno monoliticky s vulkolanovým břitem a celý pluh je možné ovládat z kabiny řidiče v průběhu čistících prací.
In May 2018, Glomex Military Supplies handed over 5 pieces of Night Vision Goggles to the Police of the Czech Republic (ANVIS). The supply was carried out on the basis of a tendering procedure. Night vision goggles are used for advanced helicopter crew training. They enable pilots to land at night and in the dark. Apart from performing tasks for the Police of the Czech Republic, the goggles are also used for deployment of the flight unit within the Integrated Rescue System. The whole helmet system (SPH-5 type) and night vision goggles meet the most stringent criteria imposed on current military and police air forces performing tasks at night including low level flights, landing on unknown terrain without ground guides etc.
In January 2018, Glomex Military Supplies, on basis of winning the August 2017 tender for delivery of 10 units of the Helicopter External Cargo Transport Nets, handed over to the Czech Air Forces eight HCN1616 cargo nets capable carrying load of up to 2 268 kg (5,000 lbs) and two HCN1818 nets for carrying cargo of up to 4,536 kg (10,000 lbs). Transport of cargo on helicopters’ sling thus enhances the operational and training capabilities of helicopters within Czech Air Forces.
At the end of 2017, Aviation Division of Glomex Military Supplies handed over two units of PRM - 40 Ambulift to the 24th Air Force Base in Prague - Kbely. This self-propelled vehicle allows for convenient transport, embarkation and disembarkation of passengers with reduced mobility or injured persons, including attending staff, to the transport airplane. The air-conditioned and insulated passenger compartment is equipped with three seats and safety belts and restraint system to attach disability aids and other equipment and to prevent passengers from falling. The new equipment can be used for transportation of participants to the 12th Winter Paralympics in PyeongChang in March 2018. Ambulifts can also be used for lifting of food containers or other equipment to support the aircraft on-board galley operation.
In the last quarter of 2017, Glomex Military Supplies delivered to the Czech Air Forces Portable K-loader system allowing for loading and unloading to transport aircraft of material deposited on standardized NATO-463L (Airborn Standard Pallet) pallet system, ISO 1C containers and on so called "pallet trains". The subject of the delivery was self-propelled K-loader for handling and transporting palletised cargo weighing up to 25,000 lb, a roller bench for the completion of the “pallet trains”, three forklift trucks with reduced height, including a roller-lane attachment, and four sets of portable weighing scales. The new equipment in a significant way accelerates the loading and unloading of material to/from transport aircraft and will be supporting humanitarian aid missions and Czech Army foreign deployments.
Once again Glomex Military Supplies company exhibited at the MSPO 2017 international exhibition, which took place at the Kielce Exhibition Center in Poland from September 5 to September 8; 2017. During the show we introduced the MEDEVAC system to integrate and build into any army aircraft. Native and foreign visitors of the show could also try out the PTU (Patient Transport Unit) as well as the parachute and oxygen systems for special units made by the American - Airborne Systems manufacturer and the night vision devices by the American manufacturer Nightline Inc. Glomex MS has raised funds for the Military Union Solidarity fund, which is the open-source model of the Army of the Czech Republic, Military Police, Military Intelligence, the Prague Castle Guard and the Czech President Military Office. A part of this contribution has been made by the GLOMEX staff employees themselves for which we are immensely grateful! The Military Union Solidarity Fund was established in 2015 as a foundation to financially support families and unprovided children of the active national servicemen and servicewomen who either died or were disabled while carrying out their duty. Apart from its financial support the MUSF is giving the destitute a helping hand whether there´s a catastrophic event or difficult circumstances related to their service. Last but not the least, the funds mitigate the negative social economic impact to the state service individuals and their families who, involuntarily, have got into very difficult life circumstances due to the service.
Glomex MS has won a Czech Ministry of Defence public tender to full maintenance services of the two JAK – 40 aircrafts which are the dedicated air transport aircrafts of the state and government officials. As we have stated at the end of September 2016 Glomex MS won a tender for the Czech Air Force key aircraft, Airbus A319-115(CJ). A long-term contract was signed between the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic. The new tender result means GLOMEX MS is now also providing full maintenance services for the JAK-40 aircrafts. The value of the contract is 64,5 mil CZK signed for 3 consequent years terminating in the end of 2020.
